Sunday School classes are available to everyone from nursery through adult. We primarily use United Methodist curriculum, focusing not only on teaching basic Christian belief and practice but also emphasizing guiding students in active, personal learning appropriate to each age and developmental level.
Our Sunday School meets from 10:00 - 10:55 a.m. each Sunday during the school year. Our Sunday School classes also participate in a yearly mission project through offerings received in class. As a community service project, the children and youth of our Sunday School assemble Easter baskets for children whose parents are incarcerated locally.
We offer a variety of adult classes. At present we have two ongoing groups: “Faith Link”, a weekly conversation relating Christian belief and practice to contemporary social issues; and “New Testament Made Easy”, a survey and discussion of the New Testament. Current short-term studies are a women’s video-based study group featuring Beth Moore, and a the video-based study “Organic God”.
A weekly Book Study Group, a great forum for exchange of ideas, meets on Sunday evenings.
For more detailed information about any of these studies or activities, please contact the church office or email us at
